IMPROV CLASSES IN MELBOURNE
Chicago-style improv taught from the fundamentals, one night a week at our venue, The Pit Theatre in Collingwood. Start at Level 1 with no experience, then build through Levels 2 and 3.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Complete beginners start at Level 1. No experience needed, and there’s no audition.
Levels 2 and 3 build on it. Students progressing to Levels 2 and 3 should have completed the previous level or received approval from The Improv Pit.

Free workshops run on a Thursday night before each Level 1 intake. A relaxed introduction, and a first look at what you'll work on in Level 1.

8 weeks, 7:00pm to 9:00pm. $395 per term, or $265 for returning students. Small groups, 18+.
At our venue, The Improv Pit Theatre, 5/48 Easey Street, Collingwood VIC 3066. Enter through the back laneway off Budd Street. There’s lift access.

Yes. Returning students repeating a level pay $265.

No refunds for change of mind. Credit can be used towards a future term or shows.

When the course starts. Level 1 can sometimes take late enrolments in the first two weeks if there’s space, so get in touch. Levels 2 and 3 usually don’t take late enrolments.
